If we cannot accept your order, we will notify you.

Product Description

Each Product is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out additional Specific Conditions related to that Product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times, after-sales service and guarantees.

We will take all reasonable effort to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of goods displayed on this website are correct. The colours, specifications, dimensions and descriptions of items on the website and brochures are quoted as accurately as possible, but please note that all images are for illustration purposes only. We reserve the right to modify the dimensions, specifications, descriptions and quantities of items displayed on our website without prior notice.

ALCOHOLIC MERCHANDISE

Abejatapasbar.com may sell alcoholic products. This is any containing more than 0.5% of alcohol by volume (0.5% abv). Premises licence number 270850.

Under the Licensing Act 2003, it is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol if you are under the age of 18. Please be aware, if your order contains alcohol, the recipient of the parcel must be over 18. We operate a Challenge 25 policy, which means that no orders will be left with any person under 18 years of age upon delivery. The courier may request the recipient to produce satisfactory identification evidence to prove that they are at least 18 years of age. Failure to do so will result in-non delivery of the parcel, In which case Abeja Tapas UK Ltd will not be liable for any delays or offer refunds on non-delivered items.

By placing an order for any alcohol on abejatapasbar.com, you confirm that you and the recipient are of the requisite age. By accepting these Conditions you agree to abejatapasbar.com truthful and accurate information and act in accordance with the Licensing Act of 2003.

Substitution Items

Our products are subject to availability. On rare occasions, we may need to make minor substitutions with an item of equal or greater value than the original item listed in the Board-in-a-Box you have purchased, or issue a refund for the product. You may choose to receive a refund rather than accepting the substitute item by contacting us.

Gift Messages

You can include a personal gift message of up to 150 characters, including spaces, in every order. The gift message will be placed in a product description note, inside the delivery box.

We are not responsible for customer generated errors, including spelling, typographical or grammatical errors or other ordering errors, including delivery address. To prevent these potential issues, please review your order carefully before proceeding to payment.

Content Rules – we do not allow personalised messages to include any of the following content:

false, inaccurate, misleading, offensive, obscene, indecent, discriminatory, abusive, threatening or defamatory, or that might cause needless annoyance, inconvenience or distress to any person;

includes any material containing personally identifying information about another person, such as their address, phone number, or email address, except with the written approval of that person;

Prices

All Products prices are displayed in GBP and include Value Added Tax which will be applied at the current rate where applicable. Prices may be subject to variation without notice. If there is a pricing error on our website we will contact you as soon as possible. We will offer you the option of reconfirming your order with the revised price or cancelling your order and receiving a full refund. If we are unable to reach you, your order for the incorrectly priced item will be cancelled, without obligation on our part to honour such orders.

Promotional Codes

If you have a valid Abeja Tapas Bar promotional code, enter them in the allocated space at checkout. Please note that offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers and offers apply to one per household. Please see the relevant product offer page for the terms and conditions applicable to that promotion.

Payment

All payments for goods must be made at the time of placing the order. We are not able to reserve or dispatch any goods before full payment is received.  Our e-commerce platform uses WooCommerce Payment for a trustworthy and secure check out process at any time.

We cannot accept cheques or cash for payments online or telephone orders.

Our website uses high-level SSL encryption technology. We take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously. If you create an account and enter your payment details, your card will be stored securely by Stripe so that you can check out on future visits without re-entering your card details. We never store or have access to your credit or debit card details.

Delivery to United Kingdom Addresses

Delivery charges are not inclusive in the price shown on the product page and will be added at checkout, for each separate address that goods are being delivered to.

Abeja Tapas Bar relies on third party couriers to provide delivery services. We are therefore not responsible if estimated delivery time are not met.  Delivery times may vary according to availability and any delivery times are subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure (e.g. weather) for which we will not be responsible.

We strongly recommend you allow 1-2 extra working days for shipments that need to arrive by a certain date.

Corporate Orders

Large Corporate Orders: for orders for delivery to more than ten addresses, an electronic order form is available by contacting us either by e-mail to orders@abeja-tapas.com or by calling us on 07540395894 . Please allow 48 hours for processing these orders and the order will not be confirmed nor items reserved until full payment is received.

Corporate orders: in addition to the payment methods mentioned above, payment by bank transfer can also be accepted for phone orders.

Cancellations Prior or After Despatch

To cancel your order, please let us know at least 48 hours before noon on the scheduled shipment date. We will refund your order within 14 days of notifying us, by either e-mail to orders@abeja-tapas.com or call us on 07540395894. Failure to do so might result in no rights to a refund, particularly if the order has been dispatched. once despatched we are unable to stop delivery or cancel the order. In the event that orders cannot be stopped or cancelled, subject to these Terms & Conditions, you may return the items to us per your ‘Right to Cancel and Return Purchases’ below.

Changes to your order

If you wish to amend the contents of your order or change its delivery date, please contact us by either e-mail to orders@abeja-tapas.com or call us on 07540395894 no less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled shipment date.

Right to Cancel and Return Purchases

At Abeja Tapas Bar, we pride ourselves on our meticulous and careful ordering preparation and packaging to ensure that all food and drink items are safely protected during transit, and delivered to our customers in perfect condition. We can’t offer refunds or exchanges on perishable or shorter shelf-life goods such as bread, stews or some fish products unless faulty or not as described. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you wish to cancel your order and return your purchase,

please email us to orders@abeja-tapas.com or call on 07540395894. You will be given instructions about where to return the goods which must be made within 14 days of notifying us. When the goods have been received and checked, a refund for the goods and the standard delivery charge (premium charges are not refundable) will be issued within 14 days. Please note that returning the goods to us is your responsibility and we are not obliged to repay you for any costs that you have incurred in returning the products to us.

Items Which Are Damaged in Transit, Defective Or Incorrect

If the goods sent by Abeja Tapas Bar to you have been damaged in transit, are defective, or not as described, please email us at orders@abeja-tapas.com or call on 07540395894. We will either exchange these items without charge to you, or provide you with a full refund, Similarly, if we have sent you an incorrect item, please notify as soon as possible or within 14 days of purchase. Please return the incorrect item to us. We will send you the correct item as soon as possible or alternatively, we will refund the item once it has been returned to us.

We will check the items on their return, and we may request proof of purchase and/or photos of the damage and packaging in order to enable us to investigate the matter with our courier and packing facility.

Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible to you for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these Terms & Conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control.

If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Scottish or English and Welsh courts. If you live in Northern Ireland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Northern Irish or English and Welsh courts.
