Who we are

We’re an independent tapas bar bringing you the authentic flavours of Southern Spain. We first opened our doors in 2019, tucked away under the Mancunian Way in Hatch and are known as the smallest tapas bar in Manchester. This January, we moved out of our two tiny shipping containers to focus on building our new permanent venue in Chorlton. 

Meanwhile, we are still spreading the joy of tapas with our Board-in-a-Box delivered to your door, as well as market and restaurant pop-ups. Follow us on our socials for latest news. 

Our mission

Our ambition is to create a space where people can enjoy exclusive drinks and Andalusian soulful food. We want to create an authentic, relaxed atmosphere that invites sharing experiences and promotes cultural activities.

Ana & James

I'm a biomedical research scientist by training and a cook at heart. As much as I have enjoyed working and 'cooking' in the lab, my passion has always been in the kitchen - making dishes from my family heritage and being a host at dinner parties. I truly believe that food brings people together, and when cooked lovingly, it nourishes the soul too. I always wanted to translate this passion into something bigger and play tribute to all the amazing cooks in my family, especially to my grandmother Maria. 

James has been an independent business owner for well over a decade. He’s passionate about proper tapas, done the Spanish way, and in particular he loves the vibrant bars of Granada. 

Together, our dreams are finally becoming true as we bring to Manchester an authentic tapas bar experience.
